Description
REM R.E.M. UP 2 x 12" VINYL RECORD LP 1998
Offered for sale is a 2 x 12" vinyl LP of Up by R.E.M. The catalogue number is 9-47112-1.
This is really hard to come by on vinyl, as virtually no one was buying vinyl by the time this was released in 1998. It comes complete with its original 2 x clear plastic inner sleeves and inner sheet of liner notes.
It’s in pretty good condition for its age; the outer sleeve shows light signs of ringwear on both sides but there are no splits or tears. The inner sheet has a slight 2-inch crease about halfway down, but apart from that it is as new. Both of the inner plastic sleeves are a bit creased, and one has a very small split (see picture), but they are both fine.
All four sides of the vinyl play perfectly, and the vinyl is clean and clear, with only a few minimal surface scratches. The labels are also clean, with minor spindle marks.
Overall this is a really nice copy of this rare double LP.
