RARE

BASEBALL JACKET

This Jacket is from the "Out of Time" era. As true fans know....there was no official tour for the Out of time album. The band did however play some acoustic shows throughout Europe in support of the album.

These jackets were made in a limited amount in conjunction with these shows. They were primarily for those connected with the band and some record company folks. They were made in the U.K. and are official Warner Wear ( Warner Bros.) brand.

Clothing made in the U.K. is sized slightly different than clothing made in the U.S. The Jacket up for auction is a Size XXL (U.K.) This is more like an American XL.

This is significant because when these are seen for sale (though rarely) they are typically medium or large. It is not common to find one of these in this size.

It is in BEAUTIFUL condition. It snaps up the front. The body is wool. The sleeves are leather. All black. The large logo on back is yellow...."R.E.M. Athens, GA"
