Description
The REMO BIONDI Stylists on a SHORTY-TUNES 12" LP record.
SHORTY-TUNES was a radio transcription service of the Standard Radio Transcription Services record company of Chicago that went into business in 1954.
REMO BIONDI aka RAY BIONDI was a Chicago musician who played jazz (guitar) with Gene Krupa, and Blues (guitar and VIOLIN!) with people like Jimmy Reed. Eventually he backed rock'n'roll and doo-wop artists too.. he played mots more instruments including trumpet and mandolin.
Original USA pressing in MONO with Deep Groove labels.
Record is mostly VG+ but there's some scuffing on first track on each side, as well as marks in the dead wax at center, so I'll call it VG in the interest of being on the conservative side. Has full original gloss and sounds good!
There's grease pencil markings in the deadwax also which I guess indicate where track(s) start - former owner was a jazz radio DJ. Labels as shown. No cover; didn't come in a cover, it came in a brown paper sleeve which is included (typical wear for its age) and of course that's now in a clear plastic sleeve.
All records are original USA pressings - not recent reissues - unless noted. Check out our Grading / Condition info. Items have no writing, stamps, stickers, drillholes, or other noteworthy defects unless specifically noted otherwise, or shown in photos.
