This is literally a one-of-a-kind item. If you are a R.E.M. fan- this is a must have item. It's a mint condition, test pressing of REM's very 1st LP "Murmur". No skips, scratches, or issues!
This record was pressed on black US vinyl by Electrosound Group Midwest Inc. in Shelbyville, IN, in 1981. This 33 and 1/3 RPM record was only played one time on a turntable, which used a high-end Grado diamond stylus (needle). It was then cleaned with a Discwasher and stored in a rice paper & plastic album sleeve (see picture) which I got from an audiophile friend of mine. It has been in my smoke-free home ever since. 
I am selling this rare jem of a disc because I no longer have a turntable or suitable stereo system. I'm also including a photocopy of the October 28th, 1982 Rolling Stone magazine article about the band.
