DESCRIPTION: The history of Renaissance is essentially the history of two separate groups, rather similar to the two phases of The Moody Blues or The Drifters. The original group was founded in 1969 by ex-Yardbirds members Keith Relf and Jim McCarty as a sort of progressive folk-rock band, who recorded two albums but never quite made it, despite some success on England's campus circuit. The band went through several membership changes, with Relf leaving and new members added in 1971. This double album features the best of the first 2 Renaissance LPs, before Relf left.
Vinyl is mint, sealed. Jacket has very minor corner rounding and a hole punch top right corner.

GRADING SCALE unless otherwise noted above as "PLAYTEST GRADE," all grading is visual
MINT --> Mint is Mint. It looks like it has never been played;
NEAR MINT --> Very clean with just a few light marks that do not affect listening;
EXCELLENT --> Has minor surface scratches and/or scuffs. Record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't significantly affect play. Jacket shows very light wear, extremely light ringwear or impression;
VERY GOOD -->Still a enjoyable record to listen to but not perfect. Many of the defects found in a EX record will be more pronounced in a VG record. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in quiet passages and during a songs intro and fadding out, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to possibly be noticeable (light scratches). Jacket will have some ring-wear, may have creases, folds, Likely has slight rounding of corners and shelf-wear on edges;
GOOD --> I do not sell albums in this grade unless it is extremely rare.
