Here's the very first pressing of RENAISSANCE, The YARDBIRDS members first excursion into a more sophisticated elegant style, blending classical with progressive rock - a gentler type of measured music from what they were used to with psychedelic blues.
Paul Samwell-Smith produced this lovely record.
and it's a BEAUTIFUL copy too.
For the delicately tasteful musicianship, it's worthy enough on its own, lovely vocal harmonies and almost baroque styling.
There are folkier tunes which show their strengths in composing,it certainly was an auspicious sign of a new intent.
Indeed, the changing lineups cemented the band into rock legend, releasing adventurous classic lps throughout the following decade.
This is superb music - and this issue is the landmark first pressing in wonderful shape.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades EXCELLENT, with super quietness in the intros and suspenseful moments. Only superficial sleeve scuff to be seen. A superb copy!
Pink 'i' Lables are EXCELLENT, bright, no stains, stickers or pen.
The GATEFOLD card COVER is VG+
