A recording like this one stands out on its the own. This recording restores the Caprices to their original version by being absolutely faithful to the three manuscripts in Paganini's hand. It does full justice for the first time to the autographs in respect to the discrepancies one encounters in printed editions recitals and current gramophone recordings , correcting wrong notes (many) and transcription errors in general
