La Voce Del Padrone QCLP 12021 – Original Italian Mono LP – 1956
An exceptionally rare original Italian La Voce Del Padrone pressing featuring the great Italian violinist Renato De Barbieri, accompanied by pianist Tullio Macoggi.
QCLP 12021 is the very first LP in De Barbieri's extremely scarce series of 1956 La Voce Del Padrone recordings, preceding QCLP 12022 (Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata) and QCLP 12023 (Recital).

Barbieri's rare original La Voce Del Padrone LP-s are highly sought after, with other first pressings repeatedly achieving four-figure prices at auction, including documented sales above $1,000 and $1,500.
CONDITION
Sleeve: VG+
Very well preserved for its age. Some wear/paper loss along the spine, as clearly shown in the photos, but the spine remains intact with no split.
Otherwise a remarkably solid example, with no seam splits, writing or stickers.
Record: VG
Shows signs of use with surface marks, hairlines and scuffs consistent with the VG grade; some are less apparent in the photos than under direct light.
Fully play-tested from beginning to end and plays well overall, with some background crackle typical of a 1950s pressing and occasional clicks/pops. The music remains clear and enjoyable throughout, with no overpowering surface noise. Labels show spindle marks but are clean, with no writing or stickers.

The record will be removed from the sleeve and placed in a separate inner sleeve to prevent seam splits or sleeve damage during transit.
