RENE ALVAREZ y SU CONJUNTO:  SONORO Records 108 (Mfd in Cuba in the 50's)  SE OLVIDARON DE SANTIAGO/SENOR PORQUE   - Original mid 50's 78RPM Record, Made in CUBA  -   This is a very rare Cuban Label.  The Label is clean on both sides, with only light shelfwear.  The Disc itself has a lot of scuffs.  It looks around a low G, showing a lot of use.  There is a chip off of the SE OLVIDARON Side, at the outer edge.  It does cut into the introduction of the song, but only the musical intro.  The Audio Clip starts right after the chip.  I made a loose recording of this by holding a Microphone in front of a friend's Record Player;  it's not great sound, but it will give you an idea of what the music is like.  The overall Sound Quality is somewhere around VG-/VG.   I’ve posted some Audio Clips from this at: www.gate.net/~rhanes/renealvarez78sonora.wma You can download these as WINDOWS MEDIA AUDIO Files and listen for yourself..   I can take Paypal (and others).  I can ship this anywhere in the USA via Media Rate for $4.00 (with extra Cardboard and Packing), or send it Air Priority for around $13.85.  This can ship to most Overseas Countries via First Class Mail for around $22.00 due to the larger box and extra packing material required;  shipping to Canada will cost $14.00.  I signed on to eBay's GLOBAL SHIPPING, which can ship this to many Countries for much less (usually around $4.00, but eBay won't allow me to combine multiple purchases, and they fill out the Customs form and fill in the full sales value).  I can only get to the Post Office once or twice a week, so please be patient. The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. If bidding on this reaches $50, and it ships to a non-US buyer, Registered Mail will be required in addition to First Class Postage, but I'll pay $5.00 of the $12.95 Registered Mail fee. If it sells for over $120. to a non-US Bidder, it will have to ship Air Priority, which will run around $45. If it sells for over $400, it will have to ship EXPRESS MAIL, which will cost around $50.00. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying with some way other than Paypal, I can ship it any way you want. Paypal rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers. You can't get that with simple First Class International shipping.  I can also get you more accurate Postage quotes if you send me the country you're located in.  Good luck!
