Made by the BBC for their broadcasts. This untitled LP has some excellent tracks. Rene Costy was a classical violinist and music teacher on the one hand, a curious jazzman on the other. Still, rather little is known about the Belgian musician and composer. Some twenty years after his passing, his work is finally receiving recognition.
The LP looks unmarked and plays fine with a little static in places. On ‘Nostra Nostalgia’ and ‘Melanconia’ there’s a click for about 4 revs. It’s in a plain sleeve with a pasted sheet on each side with track details.
