Description
Up for auction is an extremely rare, original Twin-Tone pressing of the Replacements seminal "Let it Be." I tend to be exacting about my vinyl grading, down-grading for the most part to ensure satisfaction. I base all grading on the standard M, NM, VG+, VG etc scale (and do not sell records any grade lower than VG).
SLEEVE: spine is excellent, beautiful and intact - no split-seam, no crease, no tear - absolutely terrific. very slight, barely perceptible smudge towards the right-center of sleeve where it opens. no splits anywhere on the sleeve, either - everything still together, no loose edges. there is a small crease on the lower right hand corner on the back cover, very slight, minimal spot on white interior of sleeve. cover still glossy, not dull, has been kept away from sunlight exposure.
RECORD: visually, side A has minimal wear, no major marks, no heavy lines, rates easily as VG+. side B is visually better, nearing a NM rating. the paper label is in excellent shape, no stains, no heavy wear. sound? it sounds amazing! I've listened to it twice in a row and it's astounding how clear and wonderful a piece of vinyl from 30 years ago can sound. plays absolutely beautifully, no skips, no aggressive surface noise, just an absolute pleasure.
