Brilliant Experimental / Avantgarde album from 1979. You are bidding on third pressing of ‘The Third Reich’N’ Roll’ LP by the RESIDENTS from San Francisco. As you know original first pressings were issued in 1976 and have FIRST PRESSING 1000 DISCS printed on the front sleeve. This third pressing from 1979 has IS A DIVISION OF THE CRYPTIC CORP replacing the phrase FIRST PRESSING 1000 DISCS. Issued on the bands own label ‘Ralph’ records (catalogue number (RR1075). It should be noted that this LP was the RESIDENTS second official album release, but was the third recorded. The second album, entitled 'Not Available', was recorded in 1974, but not issued until 1978. The label etiquettes of this record show ‘Swastikas On Parade’ (17:30 minutes) on the A-side and ‘Hitler Was A Vegetarian’ (18:27 minutes) on the flip....but all in all you can listen to 29 tracks. Some are obvious while others are almost unrecognizable. The following is the ‘real track listing’ but, oddly, none of these tracks are listed on the cover or label.

Some of these songs are played simultaneously. America's "A Horse with No Name" is slightly newer than the rest of the hits on the album, but matches The Swinging Medallions' "Double Shot (Of My Baby's Love)" exactly. Vocals from The Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil" are performed during a guitar solo to the tune of The Beatles' "Hey Jude", and "Telstar" is played simultaneously with "Wipe Out".
