Description

Beautiful original 1958 stereo copy of Respighi's music for the ballet La Boutique Fantasque, conducted by Georg Solti on UK Decca SXL-2007. Wide-band label, scalloped flip back and blue borders. The disc is nearly perfectly mint and plays breathtakingly flawlessly. Just gorgeous sound. The cover has a tear on the front (see photos) which was at one time taped, so there is tape residue all along it. Now it is taped on the inside and holds together very well. Aside from this one unfortunate flaw the cover is quite beautifully excellent, with no lam peeling, dogears, or seam splits. There is an old price sticker on the back and a small date stamp (1959) but otherwise just gorgeous. A really lovely top listening copy and not too bad cover.
