Description

La Revolucion De Emiliano Zapata: same 1971, USA/Miami MPOS-6017. Disc is covered with scuffs and marks, plays with a low crackle throughout but the music is clear. I've had Mexican pressings of this LP that looked better but didn't play this well. It gets a Fair grade. Cover has moderate ringwear, the top and bottom seams each have a center split and a split at the pocket, these will bust all the way across if you pry on the pocket so I wouldn't recommend it. This gets a Good grade. Incredibly rare item here, this USA pressing is easily six times rarer than the Mexican pressing on Polydor! Killer LP too, one of the very best from south of the border. This band had a clear love for the swampy Creedence sound and the opening track "Nasty Sex" sounds very much like "Born On The Bayou" with loads of soloing guitars. All vocals are in English. Essential Mexican LP!
