The Rhythm Flutes of the Alexandra Shamber Boys, Dintho-Kwela (Personal Possessions) b/w Holom Toe-Kwela (Running Into Trouble).

Original UK HMV Records 7" housed in company sleeve, POP 496.

A scarce release by this South African Kwela act. After the surprise charting of Tom Hark by Elias and the Zig Zag Jive Flutes, some similar Kwela releases came out, but the majority of these are now very scarce. This HMV release especially so.

Disc has a very minor and not at all pronounced edge warp which does not affect play. Vinyl visually close to EX. Some evidence of spider trailing at spindle areas but not excessively so. Vinyl surfaces still have a high gloss and display just a few minor and superficial hairline scuffs.

Plays EX.

Labels are clean and undefaced.

Sleeve is right company but I believe wrong period. I think the correct one for this release should have a diamond shape motif. As it stands, sleeve is around G, complete but creased and with one longish tear.
