TITLE/ARTIST: This very 1st LP by the popular, but short lived, 50's-'60's TV star/recording artist/teenage heartthrob, Ricky Nelson, is on the original Verve Label and is entitled "Teen Time" from 1957. The ultra rare LP features just three (3) songs by Ricky, but is generally considered his 1st realease because of his prominence on both sides of the jacket. The other artists on this highly collectible LP are Randy Sparks (who later went on to form The New Christy Minstrels), Jeff Allen, and Rock Murphy. The LP features 12 great recordings including Ricky's songs "A Teenage Romance", "I'm Walkin'" and "You're My One And Only Love" amongst the others. The album is just one of many LPs I intend to list in the coming weeks and months ahead -- all of which are from my personal collection and in very nice condition. The condition of the jacket and the record are all very, very nice, but please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge everything for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original DEL FI Label, LP-1225, in MONO, and is in absolutely beautiful condition!! VINYL INFO: It is also very shiny, clean and almost perfect with no serious flaws to mention either---except perhaps a very light surface/paper line in a couple of places, but nothing serious,believe me. JACKET INFO: This jacket is likewise in pretty nice overall shape---except for a few scuff marks along the seams and a 6"-7" split along the very bottom seam. But otherwise, it is just fine (see the pics below). INTERESTING FACTS: You really don't see these '50's LPs out there so much anymore, and espiecally not in this kind of outstanding overall condition, so please have at it--as well as others I have posted this week -- or will be soon posting. I will continue to list many other LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists, even some rare C&W as I am slowly selling off my personal collection, and there are many more records of all varieties to get to yet.
