For some, this is the very finest RIDE OF THE VALKYRIES ever recorded, and certainly one of the finest pressings, bar none.
After the Boult rendition graced the popular Coppola film APOCALYSE NOW, many clamored for an audiophile edition worthy of the performance. So EMI answered the call and pressed this wonder before you now.
Cut at 45RPM, it is stunning, to say the least, and also offers up Boult renditions of GRAND MARCH from Tannhauser, THE MASTERSINGERS Overture, and Prelude to Act 3 of LOHENGRIN.
GRAMOPHONE magazine, in the UK, had this to say:
“Not only is the average level higher, but the high frequency extension has been enhanced and dynamic range augmented. Much more sparkling and exciting sound is the result.”
An audiophile prize of the first order, here in a cover without fault, record inside is spotless and will play near mint.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $14 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $5, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
