Artist: THE RIGHT OF LITTLE REST
Title: “The Right of Little Rest”
Label: PRIVATE LABEL. White label with black text. Stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl. Catalog number is TN 1100.
Date: 1976.
A reviewer describes this LP thusly:
“Obscure private communal psych lp from Wallingford, CT. Easygoin' rural jammy sounds with acoustic & electric guitars, flute, drums, organ, congas, etc. on tracks like "Kylescu Queen", "Calico Incantations", "Changing The I Into We"... all of which is well and good, but the biggest attraction here is the monster track "Am I Not The One", which sounds like it should have been recorded about about 8 years earlier...femme vocals, pummeling drums, loud guitar, organ, etc…”
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is gorgeous NM-, a beauty! The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, played a small number of times and handled with care. Plays beautifully with superb fidelity. Labels are clean and pristine, except Side 2 has previous owner’s name written in red pen.
JACKET: Jacket is overall very nice. Front art work is clean and bright, with a few traces of ring/surface wear beginning to appear. Reverse is blank with no printing or graphics – it also has shows a few slight traces of surface wear, but nothing serious. Original owner’s name is written in very tiny, faint lettering at the edge of the spine on the reverse (almost unnoticeable). No splits, stains, or other issues. Overall a very fine jacket to accompany the superb disc. I am confident the winning bidder will be quite pleased.
Includes original fold-out poster insert with lyrics and photos, in excellent shape.
