Description

RIM – Arrives (1980) Rising Times-1111 – M-/M- (cover/vinyl)


A monster afro-funk-disco session with drummer Rim Kwaku Obeng playing drums, electric piano and clavinet, joined by a large number of accompanists including Arthur Adams on guitar. There are lots of African players on brass and other instrumentation and the songs are all great, especially the classic “Funky Drummer.” A rare issue.


This is a beautiful copy. The cover is bright and tight with no seam splits and in original shrink wrap. The vinyl is super clean and glossy and looks uplayed. I grade this conservatively: M-/M- (cover/vinyl).
