RIMSKY-KORSAKOV: SCHEHERAZADE

This record was reproduced from the original three track master session tape. The playback machine was an ampex 300 series three track tape recorder totally re-tubed and rebuilt to the highest standards available today. The three tracks were mixed to two sing a modified Perfectionist Audio Components Pro Reference Preamp. The signal was fed directly from the preamp into the lathe, bypassing the mixing console and all equalizers, thus eliminating one more set of unnecessary electronic coloration.
Vinyl - VG+, some might grade it NM - I'm a fairly tough when it comes to handing out good grades.
Cover - VG+
Visually- I almost gave this one a NM grade, but upon closer inspection saw a couple very minor scratches, especially on side one, Kalender Prince (2nd cut), so I decided to play it. There are a few ticks and pops which do not diminish the over enjoyability much, but they are noticeable so I had to downgrade it. This is why I have it priced so (relatively) low.
I'm not a dealer, merely an analogue collector / enthusiast for the last 25 years, now selling off a few sealed duplicates and others from my small personal collection.
