Description

RINGO STARR
BEAUCOUPS OF BLUES

It was October of 1970 and Ringo Starr was still trying to set himself up as a solo artist. This was his first effort. “Beaucoups of Blues” is flipped here with “Coochy-Coochy.” It’s very nearly a country record and surely must have confused a lot of radio folks who thought they had Ringo all figured out (forgetting entirely about his Buck Owens cover “Act Naturally”)

This picture sleeve single and record are one of those oddball East Coast versions that have the incorrect record number (1826) on the sleeve, while it should have been 2969.
