Believe it or not, Let it Be was not the last Beatles album. Although not credited to `The Beatles`, Ringo’s self-titled 1973 album was the last album on which ALL FOUR BEATLES APPEAR, whether  individually or in some combinations. This is by far the single greatest Ringo Starr recording and the only one that can really measure up to the other classic solo works by John, Paul and George and/or all four. And you are not going to believe the list of other Rock stars that play on this album. The list reads like Noah`s Ark of Rock`n`Roll. I mean, practically the only Rock star missing is Elvis, and he’d probably just left the building when this was recorded.

See for yourself:

David Bromberg (of David Bromberg Band)  -  Banjo, Fiddle, Guitar, Violin

Steve Cropper  (of Booker T. & The MG’s) -  Guitar, Guitar (Electric)

George Harrison  (played with an obscure Band: The Beatles) -  Guitar, Guitar (Electric), Vocals (bckgr), John Lennon  -  (also played with an obscure Band: The Beatles) Piano, Vocals, Harmony Vocals

Paul McCartney  - (also played with an obscure Band: The Beatles)  Synthesizer, Piano, Keyboards, Harry Nilsson  -  (oh, you know him…can’t live, if living is without him…)Vocals, Vocals (bckgr)

Billy Preston  -  (played with Beatles, Stones, Leon Russell, Sam Cooke…) Organ, Piano, Keyboards

Robbie Robertson  (of THE Band) -  Guitar

Ringo Starr  -  (the worlds most underrated Rock drummer) Percussion, Drums, Vocals

James Booker  -  (played with everyone, and his mother, and her uncle, and…) Piano

Rick Danko  -   (of The Band) Fiddle, Violin

Nicky Hopkins  - (The `sixth` Rolling Stone)  Piano, Guitar (Electric), Piano (Electric)

Jack Nitzsche  -  (worked with Neil Young, Phil Spector) Arranger

Jim Keltner  -  (of the Plastic Ono Band) Drums

Marc Bolan  -  (you know, the kinky-haired Electric Warrior) Guitar

Merry Clayton  - (sung backing vocals on the Rolling Stones `Gimme Shelter`) Vocals, Vocals (bckgr)

Levon Helm  -  (of The Band) Mandolin

Milt Holland  -  Percussion, Marimba

Garth Hudson  - (of The Band)   Accordion

Bobby Keys  -  (remember that sax solo in “Brown Sugar”? Well, that was Bobby Keys) Saxophone, Sax (Tenor)

Linda McCartney  -  (not only a great photog, but a vocalist extraordinaire) Vocals, Vocals (bckgr)

Richard Perry  -  Vocals, Vocals (bckgr), Producer

Vini Poncia  -  (the legendary songwriter/producer who worked with Phil `shoot-‘em-all` Spector) Guitar Martha Reeves  -  (yes, the Heatwave girl – the Motown legend) Vocals, Vocals (bckgr)

Klaus Voormann  -  (The fifth Beatle) Bass, Vocals (bckgr), Bass (Upright), Lithography

(plus tens of others…the list goes on and on…)

·                               CONDITION:

·                               RECORD

(IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, ALL records are graded visually, and NOT play-graded!; we  grade records under the strong, diffuse room light or discrete sunlight)

(a)          THE ALBUM IS STILL FACTORY SEALED AND IS BELIEVED TO BE PERFECTLY MINT. Please note: sealed items are assumed to be mint and are sold as-is, as we have no way of inspecting them. For our policy on still sealed records ►click here (PLEASE READ BEFORE PLACING A BID)

(b)          The album comes with its original booklet.

(c)           The record is believed to come in its original, custom, inner sleeve, which is UNIQUE to this album.

(d)          The record is apparently pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(e)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
