R.I.P. LINDA LAVIN. Nice Collection of 2 of her 1960's Broadway Musical LP's INCLUDING HER AUTOGRAPH (see photos for complete playlists) :  Linda Lavin passed away on December 29, 2024. She was 87. Aside from her famous TV role as Alice (adapted from the Movie "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore") she was a Tony winner and introduced two classic musical theatre songs - Sondheim's "The Boy From..." from the Mad Show and "You've Got Possibilities" from It's A Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman - BOTH SONGS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS COLLECTION.
1) THE MAD SHOW (1966) (Columbia - Ol-6530 - WHITE LABEL PROMO) (SIGNED BY LINDA LAVIN while I was In Her Presence) Original Broadway cast of 1966 musical production based on MAD Magazine. Book by Larry Siegel and Stan Hart. Lyrics by Marshall Barer, Larry Siegel and Steven Vinaver. NOTE: Steven Sondheim write the lyrics to the song The Boy From...(which is sung by Linda Lavin) under the ghost name of Esteban Ria Nido.  Music by Mary Rodgers. Directed by Steven Vinaver. Production Conceived by Alfred E. Newman. STARRING: Linda Lavin, MacIntyre Dixon, Dick Libertini, Paul Sand, Jo Anne Worley. CONDITION: Vinyl = Very Good -. Cover = Very Good +. 
2) IT'S A BIRD, IT'S A PLANE, IT'S SUPERMAN (1966) (Columbia - KOS-2970) Original Broadway cast of 1966 musical comedy production. Music by Charles Strouse. Lyrics by Lee Adams. Book by David Newman and Robert Benton. Based upon the comic strip, Superman. Dances & Choreography by Ernest Flatt. Directed by Harold Prince.STARRING: Jack Cassidy, Linda Lavin, Michael O'Sullivan, Patricia Marano, Don Chasten, Bob Holiday. CONDITION: Vinyl & Cover = Very Good +.

LP's come boxed carefully in corrugated boxes made specifically for LP's, with filler pads and bubble wrap on both sides to protect the cover. LP's are housed in clear plastic LP sleeves. The LP is removed from the cover for shipping to prevent seam splitting unless when purchasing a sealed LP or when specified otherwise. Tracking numbers will be provided on all purchases.
