NEW FLOWER 7" JA, matrix: ALC 3019 A: RISING SON EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A HOME (Outstanding roots from the mysterious Rising Son who made a few killer tunes including "Jah Jah Robe", "Peace Man", "Forgive Them Jah" and this one here...and than disappeared...Al Campbell production from around 1976...conscious reggae at its very best...original press on the colourful New Flower imprint...dread-a-dread sounds!) B: EVERYONE DUB (Total killer dub...roots-mi-roots styleee!) ORIGINAL PRESS (NOT A RE-PRESS) FEATURE: BURY THE BARBER WAX'N'SOUND: ex / ex, both sides look great w/ hardly any surface marks, plays pop-a-top by any means, full punch & t'ing on both sides....total killer styleeee! LABEL: labels show lightest wear only, NO writings ("TIME" is blackened), NO damages - watch the scan, please! Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being). THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE: EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...) VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...) G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)
