Amazing AUTOGRAPHED copy of Ritchie Valens Self titled album on Del-Fi records. The jacket is actually autographed by Ritchie Valens. Being that this item came from a private record collection from someone that lived through the 50's rock and roll era and saw a lot of these musicians I have listed in their hey-day, I have no reason to doubt it's authenticity. There was even an additional unsigned copy of this vinyl in the same collection as well (which is also up for auction). However there is no certificate of authenticity or any other documentation to state the autographs validity. Doing a google search on Valens' autograph though does show that the signature on this record and those on the search to match up quite well with one another. Obviously this would be an incredible find as he died when he was 17 and this was the only album to come out in his lifetime. Knowing the original owner and their wearabouts in the 50's it is most likely this record would have been signed in Texas or New Mexico circa 1958 but unfortunately the original (and only other owner) of this record has since passed on. Do to the fragile nature and rarity of this auction, all sales are final. So please ask any questions before bidding.

Most of these records are original, do not contain the inside paper sleeve, and have not been played in years unless otherwise noted. Records will be shipped in record mailers outside the jacket unless otherwise specified. Shipping on single records is $4.00 media mail.
