Ritchie Venus & The Blue Beetles - You Can't Fight It LP (Onset/Offset Records RV 008)

New Zealand released in 1988 and 1989 respectively, these are on the legendary NZ deep underground label Onset/Offset.

When Venus does covers, his versions do not attempt to be carefully true to the originals, there is a reckless abandon and early punk spirit to these that hearkens Johnny Thunders' covers of 1950's and early 1960's rock & roll.

Rebel Blood LP is VG+/Cover is VG (light wear but with a small area of price tag damage on the front).
You Can't Fight It LP is MINT-/Cover is VG- (promo hole punch and ring wear and a light tag stain).
