ORGIASTIC RITUAL / BLACK SECRET ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by SOUTH AFRICAN COMBO aka GIANFRANCO REVERBERI and ROMOLO FORLAI. Original Italian 1st pressing on TICKLE label (TSP 1308), from 1972. Desirable and super-obscure soundtrack witchcraft by Gianfranco Reverberi and his ever mysterious studio group. The original 7inch only vinyl release of the supernatural tinged hippie mood music from the weird Italian horror / BDSM sex film, Riti, Magie Nere E Segrete Orge Nel Trecento aka Black Magic Rites aka The Reincarnation Of Isabel. Sleazy underground sounds gleamed from the cult exploitation movie directed by Renato Polselli starring Rita Calderoni and Mickey Hargitay. Polselli also shot his infamous Delirio Caldo and La Verita Secondo Satana and Rivelazioni Di Uno Psichiatra Sul Mondo Perverso Del Sesso around the same time. The ORGIASTIC RITUAL side is the killer psychedelic sex theme with lysergic afro percussion cum stoned rock rhythms / dub bassline / plucked piano strings / haunting sexy moans and sinister gothic vocal harmony finale. This is the track that Finders Keepers released on their inspired split 45 oddity with George Duning & The Brothers Candoli - Zodiac Blues theme. ORGIASTIC RITUAL was also comped on Mood Mosaic 12 - Mondo Porno. The b-side is the little known BLACK SECRET (an atmospheric variation of the main film theme). Again, druggy and psychedelic but with jazz tinged lounge ambience. Basically, a strung-out and mellow interlude with trumpet / sustained hammond and spaced-out synth motifs. Reverberi was the mastermind behind Sharon Mhati Chatam's Fantasy / Psycheground and other Italian Library of the period. The same arranger and group were behind the Psicolimite / Ultimo Tango a Parigi OST 45 on Tickle label too ;) Sleeve artwork to die for. Seldom comes up for sale now. Very Rare OST 45!!!

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG+ condition with some hairlines / light scuffs (mostly all to the "Black Secret" side) and one tiny scratch to "Orgiastic Ritual" side. Light surface noises but all copies have this. A few pops / ticks (as you can hear on our soundclip). Label wear to outer circumference of the big hole (again quite common). The soft card picture sleeve is in VG++ condition overall regardless of ring creasing / some corner wear and mini squiggle in pen to centre of front sleeve. Some wear marks to edges. Very rare OST 45!!!
