Wasteland 'double vinyl Riverside
"Wasteland" is the first studio album composed without the participation of the co-founder and guitarist of the band Piotr Grudzi?ski, who died tragically in February 2016. This time Riverside decided to record the album as a trio, with the participation of invited guests.
The album deals with post-apocalyptic issues. Mariusz Duda, the team leader, comments: "The subject of" post-apocalyptic "has been following me for a long time - books, films, video games, stories about trying to survive in a world that is over. But it is only now that writing such a story has made sense and meaning as Riverside begins its new chapter. "Wasteland" talks primarily about what is happening in the world today and refers to the tragedy that happened in the band in 2016. Musically, we returned to darker playing, but also created a new quality and character. "
