Riverson (Columbia ES 90136) 1973
Here’s an original copy of the sole album by this brilliant Canadian acoustic rock trio trio, featuring former members of Mashmakhan and Freedom North. There's impressive songwriting throughout, and some tremendous guitar solos. This is one of the big rarities on Columbia's enigmatic Canadian imprint, and has never been offered on ebay.co.uk before (to the best of my knowledge).
SLEEVE
The fragile, unlaminated unipak gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition, with general wear but no splits or writing.
VINYL
Graded under direct light, the glossy disc is also in VG+ shape, with some small surface marks that barely effect play. As with all five copies I have encountered or know of, there is a pressing fault in the final track on side one, causing the needle to stick once on certain turntables, though I am advised that altering the weight of your stylus can prevent this. The labels are immaculate, with no spindle wear at all.
