Paganini Caprices Op1 Michael Rabin Violin

Previous owner needed to move into assisted living and must sell his collection.


Vinyl is solid VG+ with a brilliant surface finish. I spot tested and find it to be a powerful performance with wonderful clarity, sharp and resonate. Some very light crackles between tracks and quiet passages. VG+ is a very “safe” grade and I'm certain you will be quite satisfied.

Cover is VG- due to large split on spine as well as sticker residue top opening corner (see pics).

also some spindle marks mostly noted on side 2



I believe he was always trying to fill his collection with scarcer albums/pressings no matter the condition and I believe this is one.



His family informed me that he would always clean his records once when he first brought them home, and subsequently following each play with his VPI cleaner. I do not however know the last time any record was played so you may still want to do a deep clean once you've received your album.



I ship all (open) lps outside of their covers to protect against splits, I also use commercial Lp boxes as well as cardboard stiffeners to package your albums.
