ROB ZOMBIE 'The Sinister Urge' Picture Disc LP Never Played W/ BONUS Remix CD

In 2001, creative genius Rob Zombie followed up his debut album 'Hellbilly Deluxe' with an album titled 'The Sinister Urge'. He still had guitarist Riggs in the band, as well as bassist Blasko, and drummer (John) Tempesta. On this record, he featured guest stars like Ozzy Osbourne, Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Danny Loehner (Nine Inch Nails and A Perfect Circle), Josh Freese (Vandals, Offspring, Devo, & Foo Fighters), Kerry King (Slayer), DJ Lethal (House of Pain and Limp Bizkit), and Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys), to name just a few!

Rob did things slightly differently on this album, so some tracks turned out sounding slightly different. "Never Gonna Stop (The Red, Red Kroovy)" is a good example. The album also features the song "House of 1000 Corpses", which was used in the film of the same name, and Rob Zombie's directing debut. (And that track has a song "hidden" in it, after a minute of static!)

In 2014, Geffen Records, by way of UMe, released the album on a 12" picture disc! A limited number of these were made, and they are now out of print. That's why some sellers are asking for such high prices. (Anytime something goes out of print, the prices automatically increase.) But you KNOW you'll get a good deal here, and a BONUS, as well!

What bonus, you ask? I'll add the 1999 remix album titled 'Music to Strip By', featuring Sheri Moon Zombie on the front and back covers! (She's also on the back of 'The Sinister Urge' pic disc.) This was released in between 'Hellbilly Deluxe' and 'The Sinister Urge'. It features remixes by artists like Charlie Clouser, God Lives Underwater, Rammstein, Praga Khan, and DJ Lethal, among others. TEN total tracks!

The picture disc is in its original PVC jacket with hype sticker. Bought new, but it came not sealed (as they often do). Never played. Jacket is split on only one side, about 4" long. Remix CD has some light surface marks on it, but nothing too bad, or that affect play. Case is a digipak (with artwork by Rob), that has some shelf-wear on it, mainly on the corners and spine. Overall, in pretty good condition!
