Description

This is an extremely RARE private pressing on an un-named label that was recoreded during a one night performance at Santa Monica's "Waleback"  (Inn/Bar) sometime between 1960 and 1964! The condition of the cover is (EX) The seams/edges are all tight and clean (NO splits/NO tape etc...) although the corners are a bit 'rounded' they are still in good shape. The pictures of Robbie on the front and back are in great shape (see pix) The condition of the vinyl is also (EX) there are  numerous 'hairline' type marks, but only one that causes any concern, and that is on the tune "The Streets Of Transylvania" which has a couple of 'pops' at it's beginning. Other than that the LP plays very well, and listening to Robbie "sing and howl" is a very enjoyable and hilarious listen! You can read Jello Biafra's (of the Dead Kennedys) review about this LP in Research Publications "Strange And Unusual Music" Vol.#2 pages 27-28!! He loved it, I love it, and so you will you! A really 'strange treat' for boys and girls of all ages (dead or alive!haha!) The tunes are (A) "Vampire Man"/ "Drums And Guns"/"My Little Brother"/"Frankie-Stein"/" That Judge"/"Censored Man"/"Count Dracula" (B) "Lucifer"/"Streets Of Transylvania"/"Rockin Werewolf"/"Inside Story Of Flamenco"/"Tip Toe Through The Wolfbane" and "Censored Dooley" Once again this is one of the most sought after Horror related LPs "in the world" and it has been in my 'private' collection for almost 15 years, and I have only played it a few times, to tape and to grade! So, if ya' want to be the envy of all the Horror-ible people on your block, grab it, and don't ever let go...! Good luck,God bless & Peace!*NOTE* I have revised the title and description for the following reason(s) The title reads "Waleback" not "Whaleback" (the front cover reads "Waleback" while the back cover and labels read "Wale Back" (two words) Thanks and Peace!
