Description
ROBBIE WILLIAMS “MILLENIUM” HMV 10” 78RPM with an HMV OLD style “NIPPER/Gramophone label logo. Highly collectable, and rare : No.600 of only 999 pressed copies! Vinyl is very clean, no evidence of any damage and it plays through with no obvious problems! There was a production mistake on all copies and explained below. There is some minor cover damage viewable on the photos provided, I do not judge it as serious. Please check photos, see what you think!
Please note I haven’t been able to play this record at 78RPM but I have cleaned both sides of the disc and listened to it at 45RPM. I can hear no scratches, it doesn’t skip or jump or stick. There is a single surface scratch that didn’t sound on playback. However the discs have been mislabelled the A side, printed as Robbie’s ‘Millennium“ is in fact ELGAR’S “Nimrod” So the A side: labelled as ROBBIE WILLIAMS “MILLENIUM” HMV 10” 78RPM is actually ELGAR’S Nimrod And the B side: labelled as ELGARS Nimrod is actually ROBBIE WILLIAMS “MILLENIUM” It is also claimed that Robbie’s “Millennium” is in fact a Mono mix! But I can’t confirm whether it’s in Mono or not! No 78RPM SPEED on my record player! Quoted on eBay currently at over £70! And above…..Robbie fans please snap this up!
