Description
Robbie William's fans looking for a collectible...look no further!
This item was produced by EMI to celebrate HMVs 80th anniversary, and has been made to look like an authentic gramophone record. The inner sleeve has pictures of the HMV store through the decades on one side, and biographies for Elgar and Robbie on the other.
Side B of the record has "Nimrod" Enigma Variations, op.36" conducted by Sir Edgar Elgar recorded in 1920.
Elgar opened what was to become the first HMV shop on the 20th July 1921.
The record is playable but you will need a record deck that will play records at 78rpm!
I have only played side b quickly to see if the record played at 33 or 45rpm - which is doesn't.
A lovely and unusual item for the discerning Robbie Williams collector. I will ensure sturdy packaging and - for the UK only - recorded post which will require your signature.
