ROBERT JOHN - THE ALIENS STALK THE WRECKED PLANET / THE ALIENS STALK THE WRECKED PLANET SELF-RELEASED - JOHN 1 - UK 1980 7" IN PLAIN SLEEVE AND WITH ORIGINAL LETTERS FROM ARTIST WITH STORY OF THE RELEASE - WHICH WAS ACTUALLY RECORDED IN FEBRUARY 1977 Really scarce and obscure private 7" release from 1980 - superb avant-garde minimal electronics with the same track on both sides (another DIY innovation for the time!) - the name of the artist is Brian Cooper and together with this copy comes an original letter from the artist dated January 5th 1981 saying that the single was released in September 1980 but was actually recorded in February 1977 - plus another smaller letter with the address at Pinner, Middlesex. A very limited release of few hundreds I would say and really hard to find.
