Description
This listing is for a brand new/sealed copy of Cross Road Blues by Robert Johnson on limited edition vinyl. Backed with "Ramblin' On My Mind" this 78rpm microgroove 10-inch single is a reissue -- and, in many ways, an aesthetic reproduction -- of Johnson's historic 1937 release, mirroring the appearance of the original, also released by Vocalian. A Record Store Day Limited Run / RegionalFocus Release, this 10-inch was pressed exclusively for RSD Black Friday 2018 in a run of only 950 copies worldwide!
Please note:
The album's shrink was sealed with little pinholes in it, which is something I've noticed more and more on LPs, and is most likely done to prevent it from tightening overtime and, in turn, warping/bending the sleeves and the vinyl. On this copy, some of those pinholes in the shrink have widened on one side around the opening in the sleeve by the center label [see photos]. Of course the jacket and album aren't affected -- in fact, this likely helped them -- but I wanted to mention it anyway.
*Please be aware that I will be out of town and unable to ship from August 1st through the 6th
