Description
This is a fine copy from a 1970 reissue of an archival collection of Delta blues legend Robert Johnson, originally released in 1961. The record contains tracks recorded in November 1936 and June 1937, 16 in all, and includes most of his best known songs ("Crossroads Blues," "Terraplane Blues," "If I Had Possession Over Judgment Day," "Me and the Devil Blues," "Hellhound on My Trail," etc.). The jacket is close to pristine (M-). The disc is clean with a little light scuffing, and plays all but M- with a little light surface noise on side 2 (EX+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
