Description
For auction is the compilation: "ROBERT JOHNSON - King of the Delta Blues Singers," on COLUMBIA CL 1654 MONO, 1961.
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides partially. It sounded fantastic, with not a trace of background noise!
Visually, the vinyl is VG+ (probably better) with no flaws to report other than a couple fingerprints/smudges, and a couple of light, superficial scuffs. The record has Columbia "Red Six-Eye" promo labels.
The sleeve is VG+ (probably better) with no flaws of note other than the slightest bit of ring-wear on the cover. The corners are sharp, the edges straight and solid. The cover is clean and unmarked. Both sides retain their sheen. It has a "Demonstration" stamp on the reverse.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
