Robert Lockwood Jr played with every big blues artist in the 40's and 50's. He teamed with Sonny Boy Williamson as the original King Biscuit Boys, and worked with Little Walter, Eddie Boyd, Elmore James, Johnny Shines, Homesick James and Sunnyland Slim - amongst others. He is a blues guitar god, having been tutored by none other than Robert Johnson himself. Here he plays a tune directly connected to Robert Johnson.
Record surface is somewhat dulled from unsleeved storage. Has a few light scuffs and scratches and a small rim flake on the "A" side which touches no grooves. Plays LOUD and without problems.. Looks V- but plays V or better. Scarce recording, Comes in period correct Mercury sleeve. Sleeve has minor tearing on one side at center hole. Seams intact. Sleeve grades VG.

New / Excellent / Very Good / Good / Fair / Poor

N . As NEW and unplayed (there are virtually no 78s that can categorically be claimed to be unplayed).
N- . NEW MINUS, nearly mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage.
E+ . EXCELLENT PLUS, plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets.
E . EXCELLENT, still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.
E- . EXCELLENT MINUS, still shiny but without the lustre of a new record, few light scratches.
V+ . VERY GOOD PLUS, an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.
V . VERY GOOD, moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
V- . VERY GOOD MINUS, quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.
G+ . GOOD PLUS, grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches.
G . GOOD, quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise.
G- . GOOD MINUS, music still prominent, but wear and scratch damage extensive.
F . FAIR, most of music remains audible over surface noise, but listening now uncomfortable.
P . POOR, unplayable.
