Description

For Auction:  A collaboration between Robert Rauschenberg and The Talking Heads.  Produced by The Talking Heads.  The art is by Rauschenberg.  Pictured is the back cover.

This record package consists of a yellowish plastic/vinyl cover (note cover is chipped on one side and pieces have broken off--the plastic is very fragile).  Inside are three record-size plastic disks with art by Rauschenberg.  (It's not clear to me if you can really play these records.)  The art is on all three of the disks, so the perspective and the way the disks interact change as each disks is turned in relation to the others.  

This is fragile, and will be packed carefully.  Insurance will be available at high bidder's request. 

All the labels on the package and record appear to be hand printed--nothing is typeset. 

The back label is a circle glued onto the outside of the plastic packaging.  It says:
