STILL OPERATING with the classic power trio line up of Jimmy Dewer on bass and drummer Bill Lodan. Yet another classic Trower release with the emphasis on thick juicy guitar work drenched in feedback and sustain to die for. The title track is simply euphoric; a mid paced brooding epic with great vocals and steller guitar work. Elsewhere the heat is definitely on with tracks such as 'Caledonia', Some Rain Falls', 'Sailing' (written by the Suterland Brothers) and 'Messin The Blues' upping the anti every inch of the way. The latter is a total heavy blues rock meltdown with some of RB's most efficient guitar work.
All killer. No filler.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
Pressing: Chrysalis, UK, 1977 - Green label original
Vinyl: Nice clean condition. A few spindle marks on labels but practically no other signs of use. Grades as top MINT-!
Cover: Again, virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated single cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight, stiff and totally uncrushed. Faintest written annotation on rear panel - see photo; almost impossible to see. Impossible to find like this 39 years after release. Grades as MINT-!
