A very rare & unusual electronic gadget for inspecting a record player stylus (or needle). This plug-in device works like a mini opaque projector with a small light bulb, an aperture & a screen. I have tested this piece & it works quite well. It turned on with no repairs or adjustments needed. All wires & power cords & soldering are in fine condition with no visible wear. This has been kept in its box apparently all the time & used hardly at all. The other audio items in the owner's collection were all also in Mint condition! Included is the original hand-written sales receipt from Priest Electronics in Norfolk, VA (sold on 11/11/1961!). There is also a vintage early 60s Christmas gift tag "to Greenie from Elizabeth".
Manufactured by Robins Industries of Flushing, NY. Included is that company's catalog of other audio electronic parts & accessories. This includes other unusual Phonograph aids. The instruction manual, catalog, magazine ad clipping & receipt are all in great condition. Also included is the auxiliary light shield (in great shape).
