ROCK FOREVER Lp by UNKNOWN ARTISTS. Original Italian pressing on the BROADWAY label (BW 13052), from circa early '70s. Super-obscure, Italian oddity we have only found a couple of times in the last 15 years ;) To be honest, we have no idea which group(s) are behind this biker inspired exploitation release but a certain theme called SUSPENSE has that Chris Harwood (of Wooden Ships infamy) psych / weird funky folk sound. We have also recorded the killer AFRO ROCK (with spooky scat / wordless vocals) and the jazzy psychedelic SLICK CHIC theme for our soundclip. Great for DJs. Tons of funky rock-beats / leftfield hip hop drums / groovy wah wah guitars and hippie inspired rhythms. This was a discovery that caused quite a buzz back in the day but we've never been able to identify the female singer or band playing on the important trax. Other themes seem to be by other groups and are more rock 'n' roll influenced. Never comes up for sale now. Sexy rock chic / Yamaha XS 650 motorcycle sleeve artwork too. Rare Lp!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with some sections of hairlines and scuffs from the original pressing process. Light surface noises. Some soft pops / ticks (as you can hear on the soundclip). Item previously sealed, opened and played once for the recording of our soundclip. The soft card sleeve is in strong VG++ condition overall with light wear from storage. Ring creasing and some general creasing from storage / some corner wear (mostly to bottom corners) and the original shrinkwrap has been removed. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare Lp!!!
