Description
This is an original 1964 MONO release by Phillies Records entitled " ...presenting the fabulous Ronettes featuring Veronica " (PHLP-4006). This is believed to be one of the rarer LPs of the popular and rare album as the vinyl has the mis-spelling of the the artist group as "RONNETTES" rather than RONETTES".
The condition of this album is described as follows:
Jacket (outer sleeve): Front and Back Covers are relatively clean with a few spots but no added writing anywhere. It would be a great candidate for framing for one so inclined. There are some soft or worn corners including one that has started a small split (about 1/2 inch) where record is inserted. Seams otherwise nice including filly legible printing on side seam. This jacket warrants a VG+ as to condition.
Label (both sides): Bright had Vibrant in color. This label has the Name Ronettes mis-spelled on each side as noted above.
Vinyl: The vinyl is shiny but does reflect some scuffing and scratching on both sides. The record does play through on both sides without skips, pops or repeats. The MONO record does produce some light surface noise (not overpowering) on occasion. This vinyl is rated VG+ as to overall condition.
This rare 51 year-old album comes with a new white generic inner sleeve and a new poly slip-on outer sleeve.
