In 1957, Harris was invited back at Sun to cut another record. Looking for material they could record, the band’s new second guitarist suggested the old folk tune Greenback Dollar. The song had been recorded many years earlier by old-time artists like Clarence Tom Ashley and the Weems String Band, but Harris came up with a fresh new version. During the same session, they recorded also the pop oriented Foolish Heart, with the help of Jerry Lee Lewis and Roy Orbison together with Red Hayes providing background vocals.
