**ABSOLUTE ROCKSTEADY MONSTER EVER HARDER TO FIND!!**
- **THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1ST UK PRESSING ON THE BLUE COXSONE LABEL. SUBSEQUENT REPRESSINGS WERE WHITE LABELS WITH BLACK WRITING OR ON THE 'STUDIO ONE' LABEL**
FROM MY OWN SHELVES AS IM DOWNSIZING SO LETTING SOME OF MY EARLY SKA COLLECTION GO (SEE MY OTHER BLUE BEAT, SKA, REGGAE, ROCKSTEADY AND DUB LISTINGS).
THIS IS THE UK FIRST PRESSING OF THIS MONSTER ROCKSTEADY SINGLE KEITH McCARTHY 'EVERY BODY RUDE NOW' / THE BASES 'BEWARE'. RELEASED ON COXSONE RECORDS IN 1967.
THE SINGLE 'A' SIDE PLAYGRADES IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH A LITTLE INTRO CRACKLE SO POSSIBLY VG- UNTIL THE TRACK KICKS IN.
AN ODD BIT OF CRACKLE BUT CERTAINLY A WELL PLAYABLE EXAMPLE OF THIS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND SINGLE.
It has survived ('A'SIDE) with some minor surface scuffing (and some light background noise at times which does not detract from the music). The 'B' side playgrades lower for an obvious mark and ticks
THE LABELS ARE INTACT with minor age related wear SO GRADE AT EXCELLENT MINUS (see pics for exact condition)!
The single PLAYGRADES IN VERY GOOD / MINUS condition with minimal background noise and no skips or jumps ('A' SIDE) and RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE in any condition.
It is supplied in a plain heavy duty black sleeve and an outer extra poly sleeve for extra protection.
This record virtually never comes up for sale on Ebay.
Grading: VG/ - (VERY GOOD / MINUS)
Description: The record has obviously been played many times and may have occasional light ticks and/or some light background noise at times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite scuffing.
I will ONLY SEND this 'SIGNED FOR'.
