Description
I’ve been an eBay member for over 17 years with over 1700 100% positive feedback. This is a relatively new account for music and memorabilia only.
Records are visually graded, but I do listen to intros for crackle and clarity, and play through any marks.
ROD STEWART – AN OLD RAINCOAT WON’T EVER LET YOU DOWN – VERTIGO SWIRL – VG
First released in the UK in February 1970. I believe this is an early seventies repress. The small swirl label with VERTIGO above the spindle hole was in use from 1971. I believe the inner sleeve to be original, it’s the design after the swirl version and carries a date code of 0972.
Matrices:
Side A: 852684 1Y * 2 420 11 23
Side B: 852684 2Y // 1 ?420 11 12
Condition is VG, but it plays EX. Side A has three surface lines (see photos) two in the final track and one across all four. They are very light, I’ve listened to the whole album, the run-ins are almost silent and it plays well with no repetitive clicks. Side B has a single hairline too fine to photograph.
The cover is in excellent condition. Corners a bit bruised and the open edges slightly rubbed.
