                                       BEFORE YOU BID PLEASE READ THIS LISTING ESP. THE SECTION BELOW IN BOLD  ROD STEWART’S CLASSIC DEBUT LP “AN OLD RAINCOAT WONT EVER LET YOU DOWN”, 1969, ORIGINAL VERTIGO SWIRL VINTAGE UK LP WITH VGC VINYL AND GATEFOLD COVER.PLEASE READ LISTING, Please note there is some minor damage, surface noise, and a couple of scratches on actual record. See below for details in bold.
There are  2 notable scratches one on Side 1, track 1 and one on side 2, track 1 are detailed as follows. The side 1, track 1 scratch on Street Fighting Mam, is relatively short & it is audible but not excessively intrusive. The Side 2, track 1 scratch on the title track lasts longer and is more intrusive in the quieter sections of the song.  Neither of these scratches are dreadful, they don’t detract from the music. There are no bad jumps, skips or “sticks”! There are some minor surface scratches and a little noise mostly between the tracks, but nothing that detracts from an enjoyable listen!  All in all this record condition, surprisingly so given it’s over 50 years old. There is minor wear to the cover, please check the photos, they are of the actual item.


This is a VERY GOOD copy of Rod Stewart’s 1st LP, from 1969, on the original Vertigo with  op-art swirl label is in very good overall condition. A very good hifi listen! 


I have pro-cleaned the LP and put it in a new white inner sleeve! The old inner sleeve is included There is some cover wear, but cover, insert  and the goats head poster are in good overall condition; please check the photos. Please email me with any questions you might have.Please check all the photos.I am happy to post to EC and selected countries. All LPs are shipped out in New Cardboard mailers with extra stiffener.I will discount postage on multiple LP purchases on same invoice when posted at same time.  I charge  a UK postage rate of £4.20 for up to 2kg(or probably 4 Lps ie where a double LP set counts as 2 LPs) and for EC(£7.90 for 500g, probably 2, possibly 3 LPs).
