Rod Stewart Blondes Have More Fun is a Warner Bros release (BSP-3276) from 1978 that’s new & unopened. The Rolling Stones & Rod Stewart were the first classic rockers to incorporate the disco beat into their songs and land on the charts as a result. The Stones with Miss You, followed by Rod The Mod with Da Ya Think I’m Sexy. This is a fantastic album—one of Rod’s most consistent. He adds some soul to The Ronettes’ Is That The Thanks I Get? and shrugs off heartache with Ain’t Love A Bitch. His own The Best Days Of My Life, Blondes (Have More Fun), and Attractive Female Wanted are what we’ve come to expect from Rod, and Scarred & Scarred would have made a great Rod Stewart & The Faces track. Produced by the legendary Tom Dowd.
