Another From My personal collection. This original 1st uk pressing has been stored in a case with the vinyl seperated from the cover for protection. This is how I have always stored my records! The audio is almost as good as it gets on my systems, it is awesome without the usual nasty background noise clicks or pops that are so often heard on these 42 year old vinyls! The vinyl has obviously barely ever been played at all!  The gatefold is also in exceptional condition very rare in this condition very near perfect! Complete with the otriginal Vertigo swirl record sleeve lovely clean an bright! Never need to upgrade from this album!

Gasoline Alley was the second solo album by Rod Stewart. It was released in 1970. It is included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

 The Vertigo Labeled album, was later re-mastered and re-issued in 2008 by Lilith records LTD, of The EU. It is a collection of covers combined with Stewart's own compositions!

ANOTHER FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION IN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME CONDITION!! VERY RARE TO FIND THESE ORIGINALS IN THIS CONDITION!THESE ARE THE VERY VERY EARLIEST EVER!!!!

The Vinyl

On initial inspection the vinyl looks awesome and I can barely see a blemish at all! Please note! this is the original heavy and thicker type only found on the earliest of these pressings! (much more sought after for the best audio quality!! Only in strong light could possibly be seen sleeve removal marks only! (no) needle or audio sounding scratches at all! 

 I have played this vinyl track for track prior to listing at very loud volume on a top system! The audio is cristal clear and vibrant all of the way through with (no) loud clicks or pops AUDIO IS AWESOME ON ALL FREQUENCIES!    PLEASE LOOK AT MY COMPLETED LISTINGS OF RECORDS THAT I HAVE SOLD OF THIS CALABER AND YOU WILL SEE THAT I NORMALLY GET IT RIGHT! I would grade the auio at least Excellent Plus to Near Mint in my opinion! Never need to upgrae! 

Please note! I always addd this disclaimer! Please allow for the add static crackle\ticks perhapes heard during some quiet parts (not consistant throughout the audio)! Please remember that this is a genuine 38 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 38 year old system!

THE LABELS

Awesome 'VERTIGO SWIRL' labels only angled to the light I can just barely see a hanful of spier marks only when angled to the light! Unbeievable to ever find like this! In my opinion this has hardly ever been played. This has certainly not been overplayed! Unbeleivable for 42 years old!

The Cover

This is the original 1st issue unlaminated Howards Printers '  gatefold cover in exceptional condition for being 42 years old! On initial inspection this looks awesome almost klike new! Only when scutinised can the odd light storageware be seen in the form of very very light rubbing ware at the edges thats all and barely ever noticable! This must grade at least  excellent plus!

The record sleeve

This is the original Vertigo poly line recordd sleeve. superbe condition without splits or tares lovely and clean !
